No Box Bonanza 28 - Norwalk, Ohio
No Box Bonanza 28 brought four days of fierce competition, big checks and some of the best no box racers in the country to Summit Motorsports Park this past weekend.
The action kicked off Thursday with Nick Bowman becoming the first winner of the weekend, defeating Charlie Lockhart in the Flaming River 128-Car Shootout.
FTI Performance Friday began with Scott Campbell taking down Tylor Dillman to claim the $2,000 Super 16 victory. The intensity only grew from there as Jason Parker and Mickey Adams met in the first $25,000 final of the weekend. In an incredibly tight finish, Parker earned the win by just .0008 seconds to collect the big check.
Moser Engineering Saturday featured another marquee Super 16 final as Chris Fleenor squared off against Michael Underwood. Underwood came out on top to take home the Super 16 big check.
In the Last Chance Race, Rick Baehr defeated Pete D’Agnolo to earn the victory before attention turned to Saturday’s $25,000 main event. Mike O’Rourke lined up against Jeff Fiala, but O’Rourke’s -.012 red light ended the battle at the starting line, handing Fiala the Moser Engineering $25,000 victory.
Saturday night came to an early close following the Biondo Racing Products All Star Shootout time trial when Mother Nature opened up the skies over Summit Motorsports Park. Unfortunately, she had similar plans for Advanced Product Design Sunday, as persistent showers forced No Box Bonanza 28 to come to an early conclusion. With that said, Marty Flegal sealed the deal becoming the 2026 Harland Sharp North American No Box Points Champion.
While the weekend may not have ended the way anyone hoped, No Box Bonanza 28 once again brought incredible racers, close competition and memorable moments to Summit Motorsports Park.
We extend a sincere thank you to all of our sponsors, racers, crews and fans who supported No Box Bonanza 28. Your continued support is what makes events like this possible, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us for another great weekend of racing in Norwalk.
