Looking for some serious relaxation? Put-In-Bay is your port of call! Located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie and nicknamed “Key West of the North”, the normally sleepy little resort town offers golf carting, bicycles, mopeds, and watercraft rental for your touring pleasure. Located just across the Sandusky Bay at the very tip of the Marblehead Peninsula, you’ll find the Marblehead Lighthouse. The stately white tower is the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the Great Lakes, and has guided sailors safely along the rocky shores of Marblehead Peninsula since 1822. The structure has undergone several updates and improvements since its construction, and the area surrounding the lighthouse is now a state park. This is a perfect destination for lighthouse and history buffs.

Thomas Edison’s Birthplace and Museum is located within 15 minutes of our Race Track, in the sleepy town of Milan, Ohio. The museum has a wealth of interesting historical information: Edison’s inventions and patents, a gift shop, and interactive displays that are sure to interest young and old alike. Two of Thomas Edison’s distant grand nieces conduct tours from February through November.

Located just minutes from Summit Motorsports Park in the City of Norwalk, this historical Federal-style house is the second oldest museum in the State of Ohio. The museum is used regularly as a research library to assist students and historians on projects involving local history. Displays, photographs, and manuscripts date to the earliest settlers of the Firelands region. The Museum is open with limited hours April 1 through October 31.
