We all have cell phones, and the reality of this weekend’s forecast is inescapable. Saturday continues to bounce between looking workable and worsening, while Sunday appears to be a complete washout.

With that idea in mind, my goal is to run both the Saturday and Sunday main events on Saturday and conclude the weekend Saturday night. Given that we have already completed six time trials, it may become necessary to bypass the additional scheduled Saturday time trial and move straight into Saturday's main event.

My goal is to run both the Saturday and Sunday main events separately on Saturday.  However, if weather conditions dictate that we can only complete one full race on Saturday, I will combine both the Saturday and Sunday purses into one.

Due to the high probability of rain late Saturday night, I have made the difficult decision to cancel the concert and fireworks display.

The Elite 8 Car Show Awards will take place on Saturday afternoon.

We appreciate everyone’s dedication and understanding as we fight the weather to get the event completed and winners crowned.
