Effective Immediately, Evan Bader, the 3rd Generation of the Bader legacy, will be taking over the role as President of Summit Motorsports Park. A new business opportunity has afforded Bill Jr the opportunity to speed the time line up, allowing Evan to move into this position.
“Now is the perfect time. It is a brand-new racing season. Recently, I’ve been presented with the opportunity to go out west to pursue a new motorsports adventure, said Bill Jr. An announcement will be forth coming in the next 30 days."
Evan started working in the family business when he was just ten years-old. He has done a little bit of everything from announcing, to picking up trash, parking race cars, to handling guest service issues. On a day to day basis, he handles all of our social media marketing and works side by side with Nettie Damron, in our race operations department. Evan graduated a few years ago from Ohio Northern University, majoring in Sports Management and Public Relations.
"With this transition, I am also appointing Nettie Damron as our track manager, said Bill Jr. She brings to the table twenty years of drag racing operational experience. Evan and Nettie have worked together for nearly 14 years. I have confidence Summit Motorsports Park will remain and operate as the industry gold standard under their leadership."

Summit Motorsports Park, which is at 1300 State Route 18 in Norwalk, Ohio, spools up for the season with the 38th Annual Spring Warm-Up, April 13-14.
