At the 25th Annual High School Nationals on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, Lincoln College of Technology offers a total of up to $25,000 in scholarships for winners of the event and individual competitions.

This year we simplified the on track activities to one race class, which includes any street legal motor vehicles: cars, trucks and motorcycles.

The overall winner hauls home a $5,000 scholarship; the runner-up, a $3,000 scholarship; and the two semifinalists, $2,000 scholarships.

In the Car Cram, each student in the winning car receives a $500 scholarship.

Does your heart burn for a high performance education? Perhaps Grandpa can lend some advice, because a $1,000 scholarship lands in the lap of the winner of the Smokey Burnout competition.

And maybe Lincoln College of Technology figures the winner of the Ugliest Working Wreck needs professional help with the restoration project. The prize for your peers’ thumbs down is a $1,000 scholarship, so make sure they all cheer loudly for you.

After all, many of the beauties at the Blue Suede Cruise Car Show started their renewed time to shine looking a bit like your wreck.

Then someone saw potential in a hunk oNick Bowen lines up at the track.f disaster and applied know how and a lot of heart.
