Get into the spirit of the spooky season with the TransTec Halloween Classic LII presented by Harland Sharp, Oct. 4-12, 2025 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio!
The event, which closes the annual racing and entertainment season at America’s Racetrack, is known as The World’s Largest Halloween Party and it features a ton of fun for all ages!
In addition to multiple monstrous days of racing, the event dives into the Dornan’s Sales & Service Pit Vehicle Mania, Skeet Peaco Token Joke Day presented by Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels and Dart Machinery Limerick Day.
Seasonal pumpkin carving is always among the favorite activities, and the Dart Machinery Fright Night will thrill with trick-or-treating throughout the pit areas decked out in Halloween decorations, the Andrew Gill Insurance Associates Kids’ Costume Judging and Party, Moroso/Smith’s Family Foods Adult Party, Dinner and Costume Judging and the high-flying Dart Machinery Air Show on track with racers going for the highest and furthest wheelies! $100,000 in cash and awards awaits!
The Witches Walk, for all ages, returns to the event for the second year in a row, and features the walk, the dance and the spell. The Witches Walk, which will begin at the stage on the Summit side of the facility on the gravel island behind the John Force grandstands, is 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10. Named Track of the Year more than 20 times by the NHRA, IHRA and NMCA, Summit Motorsports Park works hard to welcome racers and race fans to a well-maintained facility at each and every event.
The premises are clean, and the parking lots are well-lit.
We also have a children’s playground.
Permanent bathrooms with showers are located on the east side of the track and are maintained during events. Portable bathrooms also are available throughout the park.
In clean, comfortable and convenient dining areas, guests will find breakfast, lunch and dinner selections, including burgers, sandwiches, pizza, stromboli, Walking Tacos, fries, nachos, hot pretzels and more. Various beverages are available, including water, pop, coffee, Budweiser beer and others.
Wild Bill's Ice Cream Saloon offers Velvet Ice Cream in a variety of flavors for $3 per pint, and it is a popular place to stop in the dining area.
The Quarter Mile Clothing Company is stocked with apparel, souvenirs, toiletries, novelty items and much more.
Firewood, pump truck service and water hauling are available at most events.
Golf carts may be rented from Dornan's Sales and Service (reservations: 419-912-4028 or onsite service: 419-663-2254). Car parts and tires are also available at Dornan’s Trackside Shop during most events.
Paved and grass pit areas are available, and fuel by Sunoco Racing Fuels can be purchased onsite.
In Guest Service locations on either side of the track, known as the Ohio CAT side and Summit side, team members are happy to help guests, and there is an ATM and facility map at each location.
