Fast, famous and fearless racers will pilot their high-horsepower and hard-to-handle cars and motorcycles down track at tremendous speeds in an all-out effort to take the win at the 19th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, June 26-29, 2025 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio!
As a result, the action in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown, Holley EFI NHRA Factory X, Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock, GETTRX Pro Stock NHRA All-Star Callout and sportsman categories will be magnetic and mesmerizing for the thousands of fans in the grandstands at America’s Racetrack!
Sportsman qualifying will rev up the event on Thursday.
On Friday, professional qualifying will pump everyone up further, and the show will super-size with Nitro qualifying and some of the quickest and fastest accelerating cars and motorcycles in the world under the lights and fireworks over the park!
Qualifying continues on Saturday, and after racer introductions and other pre-race activities on Sunday, all eyes will turn to the track and the focus will be on the finish line, final rounds and festivities in the winner’s circle!
When fans are not trackside at this Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series event, they can walk around the pit area and watch their favorite racers and teams work on the cars and motorcycles between rounds, and maybe even receive their autograph or have their photo taken with them!

Funny Cars can lay down 3.8-second laps at over 330 mph with help from supercharged and fuel-injected engines, and they can be utterly unpredictable!
TOP FUEL
Top Fuel dragsters are among the fastest-accelerating vehicles in the world! They can be a handful for the drivers as they reach the finish line at over 330 mph with supercharged and fuel-injected engines cranking out more than 11,000 horsepower!
PRO STOCK
Pro Stock is a fascinating fan-favorite category! Engines in the cars can make more than 1,300 horsepower, propelling the cars to the finish line at over 210 mph!
PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE
Super-slick looking Pro Stock Motorcycles can cover the track at more than 195 mph, and riders have a ton of talent on two tires!
SPORTSMAN RACING
Hundreds of sportsman racers will show what they are made of and stand out in Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster and Factory Stock Showdown. When they are not on track, they can be found talking with fans about their cars and carefully-chosen combinations, and what compels them to compete on such a high level.
FAN-RACER INTERACTION
One of the many great things about the annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals is that fans can walk the professional and sportsman pit areas to watch the racers and race teams prepare their cars or motorcycles between rounds! Fans get to hear and see engines being fired in the pit area, and have thier photo taken with a racer or get an autograph from a racer.
FANTASTIC FIREWORKS SHOW
Summit Motorsports Park-style fireworks will close out what is sure to be an exceptionally entertaining day of racing on Friday night. Watch red, white, blue and other colors fill the sky as patriotic music plays!
The Top Eliminator Club is the place to be for fans who want to take their experience to the next level! It offers premium starting line seating for outstanding viewing of all of the racing at this Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series event! The Top Eliminator Club’s Chalet, a large white canopy located near the starting line, is a great gathering spot! There will be complimentary soft drinks, bottled water and alcoholic beverages (two per day for ages 21 and older). A cash bar will be available as well. Named Track of the Year more than 20 times by the NHRA, IHRA and NMCA, Summit Motorsports Park works hard to welcome racers and race fans to a well-maintained facility at each and every event.
The premises are clean, and the parking lots are well-lit.
We also have a children’s playground.
Permanent bathrooms with showers are located on the east side of the track and are maintained during events. Portable bathrooms also are available throughout the park.
In clean, comfortable and convenient dining areas, guests will find breakfast, lunch and dinner selections, including burgers, sandwiches, pizza, stromboli, Walking Tacos, fries, nachos, hot pretzels and more. Various beverages are available, including water, pop, coffee, Budweiser beer and others.
Wild Bill's Ice Cream Saloon offers Velvet Ice Cream in a variety of flavors for $3 per pint, and it is a popular place to stop in the dining area.
The Quarter Mile Clothing Company is stocked with apparel, souvenirs, toiletries, novelty items and much more.
Firewood, pump truck service and water hauling are available at most events.
Golf carts may be rented from Dornan's Sales and Service (reservations: 419-912-4028 or onsite service: 419-663-2254). Car parts and tires are also available at Dornan’s Trackside Shop during most events.
Paved and grass pit areas are available, and fuel by Sunoco Racing Fuels can be purchased onsite.
In Guest Service locations on either side of the track, known as the Ohio CAT side and Summit side, team members are happy to help guests, and there is an ATM and facility map at each location.
