A new format for opening day will be presented as the Inaugural Spring Testing, Friday, April 12-Sunday, April 14 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio!
The program replaces the previous Spring Warm-Up, and it is important to note that registration in advance is required and is open to 2023 Finish Line Club members from Monday, Feb. 26-Monday, March 4. After March 4, registration in advance will be open to all other racers.
A maximum of 250 entries will be accepted to allow for more track-time for racers.
“Our former Spring Warm-Up changed over the years, and fluctuating participation and other factors compelled us to revisit how we run the program,” said Bill Bader Jr., Summit Motorsports Park president. “This new format being limited to 250 racers is an incentive designed to allow participants more track time, whether they take part for one, two or all three days.”
Pete Woodruff will be performing chassis certifications, and the popular Mickey Thompson Try It & Buy It program will be in place for racers who want to try a set of tires before purchasing them. Additionally, racers will be able to sign up for the 2024 Edelbrock Super Series points program, which increases this year to an incredible $67,750 payout.
University Hospital responders will be on-site. The park’s dining area, Quarter Mile Clothing Company, fuel pumps and showers will be open.
This event will not offer a swap meet.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. April 12-14, and testing will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. April 12, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. April 13 and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 14.
The cost for the Inaugural Spring Testing is $75 per day or $200 for all three days, which is a savings of $25. There is no additional charge for crew members. Please note there will be no day-of sales.
