Some of the very best racers from across the country will come together and compete for a jaw-dropping $262,875 purse at the 31st Annual Rocko Machine $40 Grand Nationals presented by Hughes Performance, Sept. 1-3, 2023 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio! Only 425 entries are being sold for the prominent event. The winner will receive a very rewarding $15,000 on Friday, $40,000 on Saturday and $20,000 on Sunday, while the runner-up will receive $7,500 on Friday, $20,000 on Saturday and $10,000 on Sunday. Also collecting cash will be racers going at least three rounds.

J.P. SCHUSTER SAILED TO THE FRIDAY WIN AT THE 2022 EVENT!
After several seriously challenging rounds on the perfectly prepared track, J.P. Schuster of Vienna, Ohio went to the Summit Motorsports Park Winner’s Circle in his dragster at the Friday running of the 2022 event. David Davis of Toledo, Ohio was the runner-up.
WILL HOLLOMAN HAULED TO THE SATURDAY WIN AT THE 2022 EVENT!
Focused on the finish line, Will Holloman of Pine Level, North Carolina firmed up the win in his pickup truck at the Saturday running of the 2022 event. John Brannen of Dunedin, Florida was the runner-up.

• Race will be run on the eighth-mile
• Time break: 0 – 9:09
• Delay boxes permitted
• Cross Talk will be utilized
• TruSTART will be utilized
• No down-track throttle stops
• Air throttles and mechanical throttle stops as a launch control only
• No computers
• A driver and/or a car can only go down the racetrack twice per round
• No tricks on the tree
• Compulink Timing System
• Re-entry for round 1 losers only

Named Track of the Year 22 times by the NHRA, IHRA and NMCA, Summit Motorsports Park works hard to welcome racers and race fans to a well-kept facility at each and every event.
The grounds are clean, the parking lots are well-lit and paved and grass pit areas are offered.
Permanent bathrooms are maintained at all times during events, and some have showers. Portable bathrooms also are available.
Throughout clean, comfortable and convenient dining areas, guests will find breakfast, lunch and dinner selections, including burgers, sandwiches, pizza and stromboli, as well as fries, nachos and hot pretzels, among other favorites. Various beverages are available, including water, pop, coffee, Budweiser beer and more.
Wild Bill's Ice Cream Saloon, where a pint of Velvet ice cream costs $3, is a popular place to stop in the dining area. Ice cream is available in Original Vanilla, Butter Pecan & Cashew, Dutch Chocolate, Buckeye Classic, Cookies 'N Cream, Moose Tracks and Raspberry Fudge Cordial.
The Quarter Mile Clothing Company is stocked with apparel, souvenirs, novelty items and much more.
Fuel pumps, firewood, golf cart rentals from Dornan's Sales and Service, car parts and water hauling are available at most events.
Guest Service locations are prominently placed in the park.
