Brian Chillik

Our racing community has suffered another loss this week.  Long time racer, Brian Chillik was killed in an early morning crash on December 4.  Please keep LBrian Chillikaura, Eric and Brittany (Brian’s wife, son and daughter) and family in your thoughts and prayers.

Brian D Chillik, 44, passed away Friday, December 4, in Delaware County, Ohio.

He had been a truck driver for FedEx for three years.

Married to his wife of 17 years, Laura, Brian is survived by son, Eric Pamer of the U.S. Marine Corps; daughter, Brittany Pamer and fiance Anthony Day of Columbus; father, Dennis; mother, Carol; brother, Tim; sisters, Lisa (Stephen) Bare of Westerville, Ohio, and Sara (Nathan) Molnar of Shaker Heights, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Chuck and Pat Kemppel of Green; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Sherry) Kemppel of Barberton, David (Terri) Kemppel of Barberton; and sister-in-law, Lisa (Tim) Henderson of Green. He also leaves many nieces and nephews who will miss their Uncle Brian.

Brian loved drag racing and could always be found at various drag strips in the area with his wife, parents and brother and many track friends. He loved NHRA, the UMTR racing group and the Renegade Racing Association.

Calling hours will be Thursday, December 10 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron 44319. Cremation will take place after calling hours with a celebration of life service to be held in Spring 2016 with his racing family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a toy donation be made in memory of Brian to your local U.S. Marine Toys For Tots campaign or bring a toy to calling hours Thursday for a donation.
