ADRL Final Day

It’s the final day of the ADRL Gatorz Ohio Drags here at Summit Motorsports Park. The final qualifying round for the ADRL professionals will take off at noon with eliminations starting at 2:00. Today is also the runoff fore the Mac Tools Showdown, which pits the top 16 qualifiers in Koffel’s Place Comp against one another for a brand new Mac Tool Box filled with brand new Mac tools. We have a beautiful sunlit day on hand and the day promises to get hotter by the hour, and that’s not referring to the weather. The stands are already beginning to fill, and the only thing we seem to be missing is you! Come on out and enjoy the intensity of ADRL racing.

1:00 - We started the day off with the first time trial round for our top 16 qualifiers in Koffel's Place Comp. They'll be running off for that fabulous Mac Tools fully stocked tool box later this afternoon. Right now we're into the final qualifying round of the ADRL program. We'll start eliminations at 2:00.

3:00 - We've finally moved into an elimination program and barring an unforseen mishaps, we should be moving along now. There have been some exceptionally good times this afternoon, with several of the top 16 in the 3+ second range.

6:00 - We've experienced some of the unexpected, so we're not as far along in the program as we anticipated, but that just gives the folks in the stands more time to spend watching the race. Most of the remaining pro cars are in the 3 second range and the track has been affected by the heat, so going in a straight line has become unusual, but it sure is fun to watch!
