Courtney Force is RACER Rookie of the Year.

NORWALK, OhioCourtney Force won RACER magazine Rookie of the Year award, voted on by RACER’s global readership.Courtney Force, California.

Courtney Force, 24, Yorba Linda, Calif., also voted 2012 NHRA Rookie of the Year, drives the Traxxas Ford Mustang Funny Car for John Force Racing.

The RACER Rookie of the Year includes NASCAR, Indy Car and Formula 1 rookies. Courtney Force lines up as the first National Hot Rod Association driver to win the award, according to RACER editor David Malsher.

Top Fuel pilot Antron Brown, 37, Pittsboro, Ind., who won the 2012 NHRA World Championship in the Matco Tools dragster of Don Schumacher Racing, won the RACER magazine Drag Racer of the Year honors.
