How does it work?
We are making it easy for you to participate in the R&R Auto Body “Paint My Ride Program”. First, you must be a member of the Finish Line Club. Then, if you wish to participate in this year’s Paint My Ride program, all you need to do is check the box on the FLC finish line application and return to guest services at your first points race you attend, and we will take care of the rest! Racers must also place the R&R “Paint My Ride” decals on both side of the race car in the designated place.
The R&R Auto Body “Paint My Ride Program” begins on April 23rd and will conclude September 24th 2016. Every eligible run will automatically be entered for you, except for ‘fouls’ or ‘red-lights’. The R&R Auto Body “Paint My Ride Program” program uses an innovative scoring formula that rewards a racer’s consistency and performance over the entire racing season. To win a custom R&R Auto Body paint job a racer must have the best overall score factoring in reaction time, and their dial-in vs. actual E.T. It is similar to a major league pitcher’s ERA where the lowest score is best. A racer must have a minimum of 13 rounds to have their score considered in the final tabulation and ‘foul’, or “red-light” rounds do not count.
Once the minimum number of rounds is fulfilled a driver cannot intentionally move to another class or change their FLC permanent number. Attempting to do so will automatically cause forfeiture of Paint My Ride points! The track will enter the data for those racers who wish to participate in the program. Results will be updated before the following point’s race.
The R&R Auto Body “Paint My Ride” is a non-transferable award and must be redeemed within 30 days of receipt. Redemption equates to meeting with R&R Auto Body, initiating the custom paint design and scheduling a vehicle drop-off date. The newly painted car will be displayed at the Annual ACCEL Super Series Awards Banquet held each January. In the event of forfeiture, the prize will automatically be awarded to the next highest placed driver.
To join the Finish Line Club, a racer needs to download the application or pick one up in Customer Service at Summit Motorsports Park. The cost is just $65 per class and also qualifies a racer to be eligible for the ACCEL PERFORMANCE $53,000 + Super Series points fund as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in contingency payments and other racing programs.
